Remote Water Temperature Monitoring

Aqua Remote is a real-time remote monitoring system designed to accurately measure and record water temperature. The system uses LoRa which is designed to allow low-powered devices to communicate with internet connected applications over long range wireless connections.

The system provides a cost-effective digital alternative to manual measurement. Non-intrusive sensors take measurements (±1°C tolerance) and communicate the information with a node. The battery-powered nodes, which have a lifetime of over 5 years depending on the application, transmit the data to the hub. The hub uploads the data to the portal via GSM using the onboard 2G/3G/4G modem.

The bespoke cloud architecture allows users to access the Aqua Remote portal from any device. The portal can be configured to provide alerts for temperature non conformities, detection of little used outlets, water system cross contamination, environmental efficiency, detection of leaks and thermostatic mixing valve failure.

Real-time data allows for improved remedial actions and adjustment of control measures to prevent scalding and control the risk of harmful water pathogens including Legionella and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
