Clean and Disinfection

Cleaning and disinfection of plant equipment including cold water storage tanks, calorifiers, water heaters and buffer vessels should be carried out where debris is present. Debris such as biofilm, scale and sediment act as nutrients actively encourage the growth of waterborne pathogens.

 To ensure efficacy of the clean and disinfection process the correct chemical selection is paramount. Aqua Protec offer a variety of different chemical biocide options to suit the system requirements including Sodium Hypochlorite, Chlorine Dioxide and Silver Stabilised Hydrogen Peroxide.

Our equipment selection and working methodology have been designed to minimise the disruption of the cleaning and disinfection process to the water supply to allow our clients sites to continue operating as efficiently as possible.
