Independent Technical Report
Our independent technical reports are tailored to the specific water system issue. The report allows the responsible person to obtain an understanding of the issue and provides them with recommendations and guidance to resolve. The technical report consists the following:
- Aim of the report
- Appraisal of management controls
- On-site survey and findings
- Executive summary including recommendations.
Technical reports are carried out by a senior consultants who have the relevant skills, training, experience and attitude to deliver a concise report. All reports are written in-line with the latest legislation and verified by a senior project manager prior to the final report being issued.
Initially the senior consultant will establish the water system, the building(s) and the purpose of the report. An appraisal of the management controls includes extensive analysis of the current pre planned maintenance(ppm), training and risk assessments will then be conducted.
The on-site survey will allow the consultant to establish an understanding of the system and the specific issue. Various methods will be used including emulating an operating error to evidence the issue and provide trend analysis where necessary. Qualitive and quantitative evidence will be included in the recommendations and conclusions.
Typical examples of technical reports include hot water and circulation issues, elevated cold water temperatures, incoming mains contamination, building commissioning audit, domestic water system treatment selection and closed system biofouling and corrosion.
